Yes, there is a little town on the outskirts of Kiev called Korsun’. Great great place. Lovely and well-hidden from the city life. I only spent no more than 6 hours there but it is 6 hours that I want to remember so I am separating it out from the big city trip. If you are ever in Ukraine I highly recommend you visit this town.
Driving there. Lovely roads, right?
By the way, I’ve had a long discussion with mom about placing labels *above* the pictures and she disagrees with me so I will try to place labels below the images here. Let’s see how I like that.
View from my window is pretty dope. Stepps. The wide barrens of Mother Russia (to my this is all Rus’—the land of the Khans).
Beware of the dog :-)
Love it here! This is so homey. Including the cat, too.
Can you possibly imagine what a place like this would cost in US?! Well, since this is the village and far from the main city… Here is almost free, compared to the smoke-infested, dirty, gangstery, inner city.
We are rising the city’s castle.
See what I mean?
Tickets, anyone? Tix to what?! Fuck it, it’s closed, anyway :-).
This is someone’s house. Or this WAS someone’s house until the revolution…
This be, of course, the weapons used for the process.
Katushia! This is the most deadly invention of Ze Russians.
Here she is in full beauty. This shit-truck had decided the fate of many small wars and a few larger ones. The inventiveness of a human mind is staggeringly amazing.
Fuck yeah, I’m gonna sit on it, if it’s allowed.
Lovely park here, right? I’m freezing my balls off but it is nice to walk here.
HDR at its best.
Bird feeders are pretty cool here :-)
And the trash is amazing. Wine bottle, if you can see it, and chocolates. Someone had a good sexy time :)
This is a tribute to love.
And, of course, there are locks to prove it so.
Love this town!
