Finally, I’m here. Not the biggest fan of long flights. The sneezing neighbor, the preppy girl behind me, the oversized farter, the works! But I got my car upgraded—major plus! Internet test comes good. Love these hotels… All I had to do is call downstairs and ask for free wifi (even though it’s supposed to be $19.95/day) and the lady just gave me the code. Awesome! Nota Bene: dear reader, ask and Yee shall receive :-)
Seven AM in Philly, here’s me saying “Laters!”
I love this playground in the Philly airport. It’s been here, unchanged, for many many years. Still, I love it no less.
Nasty, cold, rainy home… I’ll meet it in a few days; but for now I’m excited.
Yeah, I wish :-)
Wait, why can’t they make bigger windows again? Wouldn’t that be nice?
Waiting on a small old jet to take me to Detroit…
That same Detroit which happens to have a store dedicated to Hello Kitty… Next time I’m here for DEMF I just have to shop!
Yeah, I know, everyone has a billion pictures from the airplane window… But these are just… so… inviting… There is something on the other side, something more than what is going on right now—you are stuck in a nasty, smelly, tiny seat, waiting anxiously for something *else* to come.
Wait, what are these?
I guess I’m not the only fan of looking out the window… :-)
Reflection of my camera makes for a nice halo, huh?
See the map?
See the same map, just more real. Or is this view more “real”? I mean, I know that the stuff down there is real but that is mostly a guess—I can never be sure. Maybe it’s just a high-resolution screen pasted on my window and, in reality, we are teleported onto some planet… yeah, right!
LA is coming.
Interesting ashtrays. Cannot recall seeing ones like this.
One last line…
And I’m finally finally landed :-)
It’s past 10 pm here but I can take Bulb shot so you see the view. And this is a cheaper room without a view… I wonder what the good rooms look like :-)
This should be a fun trip! We’ll see by how much writing I will endup doing :-)
