Once every two years we go to an event in New Hampshire: Gordon Research Conference. This year’s event was at the Proctor Academy in Andover. Extremely pleasant place, to my taste, and definitely enjoyable. Here are some pics from it for your information on what New Hampshire looks like and the amazingly wonderful natural walks you’ll find there when you visit.
The Proctor Academy.
Yeah, someone was having fun!
Lots of wood here, clearly.
This is a typical view. Very nice!
Love the mailboxes here. So… So suburban!
This! is why to own a dog :)
Water here is superbly clear.
Just imagine living here…
Or here. This looks like a nice place to hang your hat, no?
Even the side-of-the-road-beer is of high grade here.
Fresh water beaches are superb here. Definitely something to spend more time at when I may make it here next time.
Yes. Know your woods.
Naturally-Occurring marble rock here. Very gorgeous.
Lightning, I suppose, did this.
My new monster toy that lives in my car: Totoro.
Roads are abso-fucking-lutely awesome here!
And the speed limit is 70. I usually drive close to 100, but it’s nice to know I’ll be getting ticketed for 5 miles less.
Picking is fucking insane in these areas. Just flabbergastingly awesome!
Nothing like a fire pit to end a wonderful time with friends and colleagues, talking science.
Was a great time and I am making a mental note to spend more time in this area next time I visit.
