Landskaters, led by the Fearless Eric, ventured into the depths of West Philly. I, of course, tried to capture it as best as I could. Amazing to me is how rapidly the poor areas of Philadelphia (to the West) emerge from the student-filled houses of the two monster universities—Penn and Drexel. Also, somehow the poor neighborhoods of the West are quite different than those to the North or the city. The differences are subtle but they are there, clearly.
On another note, this 70+ ºF temperature is just flabbergastingly awesome, this late in the season. Here’s my proof:
