Chicago for a house party

So, I am trying something new here. I’ll post all the photos in a gallery, following the format of many of the online newspapers I see. Typically, I like to write a complete story, image by image. However, looks like I’m mostly captioning the pics so I can throw them in one big gallery and see what happens. I’m curious to get some feedback about this, if you have time to drop me a line.

Update: I hate the gallery layout!  I’m switching to the usual layout for the rest of the posts.

So I recently went to visit my friends in Chicago for a house party. Both, literally and figuratively. No, sorry, literally for both cases: it’s a house music DJ party in a house. House^2 or 2X-House or whatever. Was a shitton of fun and the tickets were cheaper than to take a train to NYC. Amazing these days how cheap some of the flights are.

HDR shot from the airplane window. Oh-so-exciting.

Chicago-12

First time I ever saw a vaporizer up-close. This was love at right sight and so it continues, but more on that some other time.

This is an awesome desert, super-easy to make and everyone loved.

I had to take this, for the good memories from Transit Nightclub, Chicago. This is Barry Paddor, the ex-owner of the legendary Shelter and the current owner of Transit Nightclus—a place where I promoted to pay for college all those years ago.

There is always a photo that nobody remembers, right?
