They are addressing an interesting issue:
Women, you influence 40 percent of consumer electronics purchases, and nearly 100 percent of you say that style is important in your buying decisions.
Yep, women have become a major force in the purchase-decision-making process. I would say it’s even higher than 40%. Most of us guys buy things to [even if we don't admit it] impress ladies in one way or another. One might even say that women influence 100% of purchases. Well, 95%, since the other 5% of men are of non-traditional orientation. But they are trying to BE women in a way so I suppose it’s back to 100%
No matter, really. I do like things that look good so I applaud today’s designers who seem to have recognized the fact that the way a gadget LOOKS might be even more important than the way it works. Just look at Apple if you don’t believe me ![]()
