Sunday skates are chill[er] than otherwise, so today was pretty relaxing. Weather was gorgeous, with some gusts of wind. We skated through North Philly and then returned into the city; and I wanted to share with you contrasts of both the colors and the buildings. I really think Philly’s North side is the up-and-coming area where we will see a lot of new investment and a lot of new construction in the coming years. I, for one, am looking forward to it very much.
Beautiful architecture here.
For example, this church, allegedly, is up for sale for just easily $185k… Yeah, it’s many k’s, but look at the size of this monster!
Neighborhood is not too bad, either.
And this church has a nice back door with a start of David, … hmmm
And another church. This one’s functioning, still.
Friendly folk here.
Should not cost too terribly much to renovate this…
Is this a half-assed paint job or a beautiful design?
Divine Lorraine is now fully covered.
Apparently there’s going to be a Veterans Parade here soon. Cool!
And, finally, we skate through an alleyway we have never ever ever skated through before (for a reason, might I add).
Few bruises aside, this was yet another win for the skate crew! Cheers and I hope your day was also very awesome!
