Dick

In discussing the difference between Gogga and other men:

“Everybody has dick. My dick comes with complex personality.”

8,516 words

So, I’m 8,516 words into my thesis.  About 60 pages so-far.  I think I’m very well past half-point and progressing very well (considering this was done in a few days).

This song goes well with the whole idea of writing.

Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Well, it’s actually this past Monday, but you’re right about “the rest is still unwritten” :-)

Cheers, mates!

I’m back to work.

Natasha Bedingfield
Unwritten

I am unwritten, can’t read my mind, I’m undefined
I’m just beginning, the pen’s in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else

Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, oh, oh

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We’ve been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can’t live that way

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else

Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else

Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten

Swimming without music? Ah, that’s so 2007!

According to this article, there’s a new toy coming from Speedo.

Now, there’s nothing about this on Speedo’s site, but that article claims that this toy’s waterproof up to 3 meters and has 1 gig storage.

Kickass!!  Where do I get it??  I mean I am so in!

Do you all really think this (or something like it) would work?  I’m not convinced.

I swim.  I swim less than I’d like, but I do swim.  Matter of fact now that I’ve hurt myself playing soccer last week I’m sure to spend more time in swim sessions rather than lifting, so I sure could use something like this!

Would this work though?  Swimming’s kinda loud as-is. Hmm…

LMFAO!

Oh, so true…

Happy 30th me!!

So, it was my b-day a few days back (July 12th).

The best idea for celebration!! We went SKYDIVING!

Scary as all-hell but ultra-fun!

Here’s the video:

Amazing time! See how scared I look? :)

Here are the photos, too.

Also, watch my other site (gregfridman.com) for more on this.  I’ll make a nice big post there about this soon :)

I could never be a woman

Nice song! I have not heard it in soooo long… I have no idea what sparked my memory but something did :)

Song lyrics | Your Woman lyrics

White Town
Your Woman

Just tell me what you’ve got to say to me
I’ve been waiting for so long to hear the truth
It comes as no surprise at all you see
So cut the crap and tell me that we’re through
Now, I know your heart, I know your mind
You don’t even know you’re being unkind
So much for all your highbrow Marxist ways
Just use me up and then you walk away
Boy, you can’t play me that way

Well, I guess what you say is true
I could never be the right kind of girl for you
I could never be your woman

I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman

When I saw my best friend yesterday
She said she never liked you from the start
Well me, I wish that I could claim the same
But you always knew you held my heart
And you’re such a charming handsome man
Now I think I finally understand
Is it in your genes?
I don’t know
But I’ll soon find out, that’s for sure
Why did you play me this way?

Well I guess what you say is true
I could never be the right kind of girl for you
I could never be your woman

I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman

[Instrumental]

Well I guess what they say is true
I could never spend my life with a man like you
I could never be your woman.

I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman

Text search versus semantic web

The benefit of the Semantic Web is that data may be re-used in ways unexpected by the original publisher. That is the value added. So when a Semantic Web start-up either feeds data to others who reuse it in interesting ways, or itself uses data produced by others, then we start to see the value of each bit increased through the network effect.

Interesting points are raised in this article by ZDNet.

Just read it, it’s about Google versus “Google killers”.
