I had a few visitors over the last few weeks so had a chance to run around the city with my camera. Nothing fancy, just photos of Philadelphia falling into the fall.
I am starting to use HDR less since, clearly, I am not yet good at it. There is quite a bit of learning I need to do before I can really admit to knowing how to use it and/or how to take a good photo with this, seemingly amazing, technique.
This is non-HDR and you see, while the back is washed off in the fog, the photo looks far more realistic than the one above.
Leaves are stating to fall (this photo is about two weeks old).
Apparently there is an equestrian club nearby somewhere and you can ride horses right in Fairmount park. Awesome!
Now, everybody touch the tree! The instructor clearly had done this tree-touching for at least a thousand times before…
These are more recent, perhaps a week old.
I like this type of a shot where you can see the sun peeking throughout the branches.
While the roses are still blooming (above) the bikers are already in their winter gear.
Black tree. I don’t often see these! (Well, I do since this tree grows at my community’s entrance)
Late fall in Philly — flowers everywhere :-). Lovely weather here, in case you were wondering.
So, this is supposed to be “sun”. Anyone besides me sees an egg being fertilized?!
Four cameras pointing at each other ;-) [fourth is mine].
Playing with reflections. These photos, by the way, are unedited. Simply didn’t feel like editing and wanted to post these already :-). Patience? Not my virtue! LOL
Spare a quarter?
Lovely fall day, don’t you agree?
