Saw this video on HealthBolt. This is a “final lecture”, a lecture series designed to be given by a professor as if it’s his final lecture, as if there will be no more, as if he will pass away soon after.
Well, for this professor it IS one of his final lectures. And what a character!!

He says brick walls are there not to keep everyone out but only those that are not ambitious enough to go through the wall. How? Be creative, I suppose. “By any means necessary” comes to mind.
That and to never write people off. Never form an opinion about a person based on your first impression. Give them time and they will surprise you.

I watch people closer now. They DO tent to surprise me if I wait long enough.
Not all surprises are good though, but hey!
